A South Wales PVC-U building products specialist distributor is reporting a significant upturn in sales of Kestrel roofline.
Swansea-based The Plastic Store credits depth of stock as the key to its success.
Manager Jeff Silk explained: “Through our sister company, Securahome, we have first hand understanding of the types of products that window and roofline installers need. For instance, with the increased interest in coloured fenestration products, we have made sure to stock roofline and window-line products that reflect that trend.”
Jeff added that offering roofline and window-line products in colours like Anthracite Grey, Black Grain, Cream Grain, Sand and Light Grey had given the company a competitive edge.
“Stocking a wide range of products, in depth, has also helped with customer retention,” he added. “Dealing with a company the size of Kestrel has meant that when a product isn’t in stock, we can get it delivered to the depot quickly.”
Looking forward to 2015, the company said it expected demand for roofline products to increase for new buildings and existing houses, as homeowners look to invest again in their properties.
